My painting for textural contexts is made up of layers – started in 2016 and put away, rediscovered two studio moves later and finally finished during the first lockdown in 2020. Alongside my ideas and more general thinking for the painting such as bringing together in non hierarchical domestic spaces and non linear narratives – Its layers, textures, bumps reflect some of the challenges in my life at that time. .
